How rapper, Diddy posted $50k bail for assaulting son’s coach
Rapper and entertainment mogul, Sean Combs popularly known as Diddy was released on bail later yesterday following his arrest on charges of assaulting his son’s coach at the University of California in Los Angeles.
A statement by the university says the rapper attacked the coach using a deadly weapon.
‘Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday June 22, Sean Combs (also known as Diddy) was arrested at UCLA’s Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell.
‘No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center later in the evening’, the university posted on its website.’
The rapper was later released after posting a bail of $50k. This was however done after the university increased their charges to a three count charge of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.
