Naomi Campbell Gets Jail Time For Attacking The Paparazzi!

Naomi Campbell is NOT having a happy Friday!
On July 31, Naomi was sentenced to 6 months in jail by an Italian court for scratching a photog's eye in 2009. Ouch, sounds painful!

According to the victim, he was photographing Campbell with her then boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, when the model struck him in the eye with her purse. While the photographer initially pressed charges, they were withdrawn after a behind the scenes settlement was reached. Unfortunately for the 45-year-old, a judge decided to proceed with the case due to the media attention and public fascination.
The fashionista's attorney said of the Friday ruling:
"We are appealing the ruling surrounding the 2009 incident. Due to the ongoing legal process, we cannot discuss the matter further at this time."
Sounds like Naomi's attorney has a lot of work to do! We'll keep you updated as the case progresses!

Jeff Bezos’ wealth has hit a new high following a recent rise in Amazon’s stock value. Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon, is now worth $172 billion according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Bezos’ ex-wife MacKenzie took 25 percent of his shares, which meant at the time her stake was worth more than $35 billion, according to Forbes. However, 56-year-old Bezos remained the wealthiest person on the planet after the settlement and his wealth has continued to soar amid the coronavirus pandemic. Bezos’ company, Amazon has been doing particularly well in recent months with the increased demand for online shopping de to the Coronavirus pandemic. As a result, the company’s share prices has increased. According to Comparisun, Bezos is on track to be the world’s first trillionaire by 2026.
