22-year old singer, Selena Gomez who split from Justin Bieber last October after four years of dating, is reportedly eager to leave Los Angeles so she can finally move on and have a fresh start.
A source close to the ‘Come & Get It’ hitmaker said: ‘She wants to buy a place in Manhattan. She really needs to get over Justin and feels like living in New York City will give her the privacy she needs.’
The brunette beauty previously admitted her best friend, Taylor Swift, was trying to convince her to relocate to the east coast of the US.
The source added to InTouch magazine: ‘Moving to New York City will help Selena feel more grounded. She saw how Taylor moved to New York last year and absolutely loved it. She’s hoping to have that, too.’

A quarter century ago, after Saddam Hussein's Iraqi army successfully invaded and took over the tiny Persian Gulf nation of Kuwait, President George H.W. Bush famously drew a line in the sand against Iraqi aggression. While the United States and its allies easily ejected Iraq from Kuwait within seven months of the Aug. 2, 1990, invasion, Bush's line has continued onward in an almost Biblical fashion, accompanied by plenty of pre-modern horrors.
