Designer and household name, Adidas, has seen more profit and increase in sales, through celebrities who have ventured into the fashion world.
The CEO of Adidas, Herbert Hainer has explained how Pharrell Williams helped bring the German sporting company to a new level.
Herbert Hainer said ‘Pharrell William’s ‘Superstar shoe’, which was released in 50 different colorways, has become ‘the shoe of the season’ and has brought the franchise to new levels.’
He also mentioned how there were long lines at the stores, due to anticipation for sales of Kanye West‘s own ‘Yeezy Boost’, which was the first collaboration with Kanye.
Hainer claims this has resulted in a 29% boost in sales of the Adidas originals.
