Fans May Be SO Over Raven Symoné, But ABC Certainly Isn't — As The TV Network Defends The View Host Amid Petition To Have Her Fired!

It seems ABC has Raven Symoné's back!
As we previously reported, thousands of fans had ENOUGH of the controversial co-host of The View and decided to sign a petition that demanded the former Disney darling be removed from the panel. Yikes!
On Saturday, the TV network didn't seem moved by the open letter from fans and chose to stand by the TV personality's side amid her latest controversy.

In a recent statement, they shared:
"We love Raven. She is confident, genuine and opinionated, all qualities that make her a great addition to the panel."
Well that's good news for the 29-year-old. Still, over 120,000 have currently signed the petition on Change.org, so the network may have many cranky fans to deal with after this latest statement.
Several followers of the daytime talk show claim their issue with the That's So Raven alum is because of her "ignorant and self hating spiel." In case you forgot, the starlet most recently received backlash for blaming the Spring Valley Highstudent who got assaulted by a school resource officer.
Talk about a face palm moment.
Regardless, we imagine ABC likes Raven on the panel because her controversial statements certainly bring the show a TON of press.

A quarter century ago, after Saddam Hussein's Iraqi army successfully invaded and took over the tiny Persian Gulf nation of Kuwait, President George H.W.
